A rainbow of algae?

I have a 90 gallon tank with all the parameters in order. nitras/amonia zero, phosphates zero, calcium above 400.
my question is... all my rocsk have some patches of pinks and purples, the coraline algae, but some also are colored green almost floursent green, some a have red tint and some have darker red/purples tints, after few dyas of putting abase rock or live rock in there i see color starting to grow.
my qestion is what is this color from? is it normal. none of it seems to be hair algae or slime algae, however every few dyas i get a few quarter sized red spots on the sand near the edge of the rocks.. if needed i can upload pictures.
im just worried always wondering...is that good algae, or is that bad. i have treid to scrub a few of the rocks with a tooth brush and the algae doesnt come off like a slime or hair alage would. so what is all the color from? ps color is only where rocks are exposed to light.
thanks so much guys and gals...

Its sounds like coral line algea on the rocks it come in hundreds of shade of color, i think in tahiti( i think thats how its spelled) it come in a blue form.
As for the algea by the rock on the sand a picture would help on that one.
Also if you could post your calcium, dkh, and ph will help me out alittle more.

agreed. pink, purple, green, and red are coraline algae and its good stuff. but the red colored stuff on ur sand may be cyano bacteria which is a sign of too much nutriants (over feeding) in ur tank and not enough flow in that area

I agree with the above answers. The colors on your rocks are most likely coraline algae which is a good thing. The spots on the sand are also probably cyanobacteria and this is caused by overfeeding and/or dead spots in the tank. I would assume this is why you see it most prominent near your live rock, because the rock is probably shielding the area from flow. I would move your powerheads around (if you have any) to try and eliminate the stagnant area.

all the way toward the bottom is dead. that must be the reason. I test weekly and my nitrate nitrites are undetectable so its not from that?
calcium is between 400-415.
these are the colors im talking about. I mean i like the coloration but is it healthy?

I know this is the good purple coraline alage

The red in the second pic might be red slime algae...check your phosphate levels and if they are a little high that would be one of the reasons for that
