A steal?

I went to my LFS looking for new lights for my corals and he had two 250W mh with ballast and reflectors it was used and he said he would put fresh bulbs in and was asking for 300 would this be a good pick up?

Depends on the appearance, the bulbs going in... and how it works for you.
My new icecap reflector and ballast with no bulb was 329.... phoenix 14k was 55..... so in that respect yes.

Was the store asking 300 each of 300 to the two? Importatn to know what ballast they use also.
