a stupid acrylic question, but...

I built my stand, and polyurethaned all the wood (including the plywood the tank will sit on). Will the chemicals (solvents) in the polyurethane have any long-term effect on the bottom of the acrylic tank?

Shouldn't as long as the polyurethane was dried before placing the tank on top of it.....IMO I would put something between the tank bottom and the plywood stand anyways!!!!!!

What do you recomend putting between the tank and stand? Tenecor said to just put it on the plywood.

RobChuck had mentioned something earlier to you about using a think rubber pad or felt, something of that nature....I had contacted Tenecor last year some time and if I remember correctly if you don't put the tank on one of their stands it voids the warranty anyways...Am I correct???
