A useful find

While rummaging through my attic I found this acrylic outdoor silverware holder (obtainable at any home goods store) and got to thinking (yes I do think sometimes) it would make a great holding tank for small fish going through acclamation, if you need a close look for parasites, dips est. the small compartments can be used for coral dips or if you want to place corals on some kind of substrate until they take hold

I was thinkin that if you could drill/cut into the sections that it could make an excellent filter.

yes another great possibility for nano tanks, or cut off the handles add some suction cups and have an in the tank refuge

Sure, send it my way. Just kidding. I am curious what the dimensions are though and if something like that is in existance in any stores anywhere today. By home goods do you mean Wal-mart, or what.

Looks like one of the old Betta tanks; I could use one at Christmas, when all my Lionfish get their green and red Bettas.

Nah, too big, easy to find.
I am still partial to the candle I bought in Detroit on Plum Street in 1968.
