A very sad two weeks

In the past two weeks I've lost four fish! Last week, our new cat kept jumping up trying to peek at my tank and I had three carpet jumpers! A purple tang, bi-color angel, and a purple fire fish.

Well today, I noticed my Valentini puffer got sucked into one of my maxijet

The carpet jumpers were startled by our cat and when they flinched, they obviously fell out. well I fixed that problem by putting plexiglass over the top and drilled several 3" holes and covered them with screne material. this totally sucks! I hate loosing fish (I'm sure they're not real crazy about it either) It's been over two years since I've lost anything from my tanks. I hate it, hate, hate it!

Please say a prayer for "Pablo" the puffer, "Lucy" the bi-color angel, "Jauques" the purple tang, and finally "Frankie" the purple fire fish. Ashes to ashes...dust to dust

Kinda sucks that things like this have to happen. But at least your next inhabitants will most likely not meet the same fate as your carpet surfers. Good luck with the repopulation.

I feel your pain man. I recently went on vacation and lost allot of fish and corals cause when we were away there was a heat wave and the tank overheated. I got some of my stuff on the rebound but I lost allot more.
