ORRRR have I been able to find info on whether or not it is bad......
I hate to ask this....but can someone point me in the right direction??
Everytime I do a search on the wwm place...all I get is questions and answers

OK...After doing more reading...and if I am reading this right....an epitoke is the swimming part of the reproductive process of a worm.....for example a bristleworm?
So it is NOT bad???? This worm is in my 54g (horse tank) so I really would like to know for sure...

I wouldn't fill the tank with them, I think the bristles would not be a good thing if they stuck the horse (or anything else for that matter) I have used a bristle worm trap to remove them, and tried to manually when I see them...I know I have lessened the population as much as possible. or as much as I know what to do about them....
If anyone has anything to add about them I'd be interested too

Personally I don't care for BMs in my seahorse tank. There's not much you can do about it though. The reason I don't like them in there is that they go for the mysis and can be accidently eaten by the SH. I know 2 off hand that died from BW snout injuries.
I wouldn't worry about the epitoke.

LOL...It died in the cup...
...I had taken it out until I knew what it was.
I don't like the bristles worms anywhere to tell you the truth...I hate them, but I know they have a job and a purpose too....I have removed some from the horse tank...but I also know there are more...like you said...what can you do
