Abalone, any one have success with them?

I got one awhile back and it only lasted a few hours in my tank. Im not sure if it was the tank temp or it didnt acclamate long enough. I just found a place that sells both Tropical and Aquacultured Abalones and they say they do okay up to 80 degrees but the Pacific Abolone needs much cooler temps. Anyone have any success with these guys? MY tank usually stays around 80 to 82 degrees.

Mine lasted a whole 6 weeks, and my temp varyies 79.8 - 81.7. It was neat while it lasted, but not worth trying again.
