could i put a emperior in a 60 gallon if it was the only fish i put in the tank. im pretty sure i know the answer but thought id ask.

i definately wouldn't. if you went with a dwarf, it would be fine. you could also keep other fish with it.

emperor needs a bigger tank than that. it needs a 100 gallon or larger. if you planned on getting a bigger tank in the future you could get a emperor around 3 inches for a bit

No...emperors need at least 125 (minimum). 60g would work when they are 1-3" then they will kill all your other fish.
