about cycleing

hello again
when my levels rise from the take being cycled do i let the levels come down by them selfs or do i have to buy some chemicals from the pet store to bring them back to normal?

No chemicals! They should come down on there own.

do i use my skimmer to bring them down or do i wait till they come down in order to use my skimmer?

I have read posts on this site that recommend both ways? I'm not the best to answer this question but I personally used my skimmer through the cycling. It took my tank a loooooong time to completely cycle though.
