ok i have one atlantic and one hawaiin feather duster does anyone have any idea how to go about feeding these guys and what is best. right now i spot feed my corals twice a week including the feather dusters, i spot feed with a little zooplan, zooplex, and phytoplex. is this sufficient or should i feed them differently? also what are the additives that you add to your tank. i am currently adding strontium, carbonate, iodine, and cal, but i was wondering if i should be adding trace elements or something else regularly.

Mike, unless you are testing for Strontium and Iodiode you shouldn't be adding either. Both can become toxic in levels too high. (as with most additives).
Trace elements are trace for a reason. Water changes normally replace what is lost. (unless it's a heavily populated tank full of corals and inverts that are using it)

Ya might consider adding Chromaplex to your list of additives. Its specially designed for filter feeders and I'm sure your Dusters will enjoy the additional nutrients. Good luck!
