I did a 10 gal water change today, and the SG went down a little bit from 1.026-1.025. Also there are little white things floating around the tank, looks like snow. What is that? :notsure:
Is it anything bad?

Are the little white things non desolved salt how did you do you water change did you add salt water or just ro/di water? If salt you need to make sure you mix water 24 hours in advance and have pump circulating it during that time. It also gives it time to get to the right PH.If not salt Not real sure could eb Micro Bubbles any pumps sucking any air anywhere.

Sometimes you dont think you pumps are getting air and they are is you skimmer in the sump for if mine dumps out any where close to the return pumps it does that.

ReefNut, I'm using oceanic salt, the tank has been running for about a month now.
I mixed the salt in the tank, when I started it, havent had to make salt water yet, but when I do, i'm going to get a container and mix it in there.
Carshark, I havent checked my calcium yet, I'm going to pick up a test for that tomorrow when I go to the LFS.
JJlittle, my skimmer is in my sump. It's kinda close to the return pump. Should I move it to the corner or something. I have to 3 pumps in my sump right now. The mag 950 going to the main tank, the mag 700 going to the chiller, and the pump for the skimmer. I'll try to move them around and see if that help anything.
Also, I have 2 MJ 1200 in the tank, should I have them blowing out some of the bubbles, airating, or should I just let it blow out the water without it making the bubbles.

The power head inside the main tank should not have the venture air line on it, take it off. That is causing the micro bubbles in the tank. If the skimmer drain is making bubbles in the sump that are getting to the return pump then you should move the skimmer or plumb the drain so it dumps as far from the return chamber/pump as possible.

Got you dogstar. I was looking at everything just right now, and the water that is coming back from the chiller is making big bubbles and then the thi big bubbles break down and make small one, causing the little floating stuff in the tank. I need to redo my plumbing so that it doesnt do that any more. I'll take out the air line on the powerheads.
