My youngest son is 9 yrs. over 14 and will be getting married less than 2 months from now. Atfer a 17 yr break since my last SW tank (55 gl), I'm setting up a 46 BF reef and fish tank. No fish yet, it's just cycling.
I was born and raised in So. California, but now live just outside of Philadelphia, PA with my wife of 28 yrs. We have 3 dogs - all mastiffs (one bullmastiff - 135lbs.; one neopolitan - 165 lbs.; and 1 english mastiff - 250 lbs.) and one cat. Where do the dogs sleep your wondering? - pretty much where ever they want to...

I don't really enjoy fishing, but my wife does.
In my younger years, I fought forest fires in So. CA. I've scuba dived off and on since I was 16. I've dived off the CA coast, Catalina Island, Santa Barbara Island, Cozumel, Mexico (drift diving), St. John's, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas (shark diving). In March, 2009, I will be snorkeling with Humback Whales off the Dominican Republic (a life-long dream).
My oldest son (25) is applying to a diving school in Marathon, Fl. Keys. He wants to work in the diving world away from the cold and snow.
I got A's and B's in school (I think - it was along time ago!!). I used to backpack alot and still enjoy Mtn. biking and 4 wheeling in my Jeep.
If I had my druthers, I'd druther be in the High Sierras in CA. (if I'm not on a diving trip somewhere).

I'm 34, live in Northern Arkansas with my husband and 5 year old daughter (most beatiful 5 year old you ever saw) and we have had a 55 gal. sw for about 2 or 3 years. Went into the hobby kind of on a whim (my sister-in-law had a friend selling his tank and we thought "ooh that would be kind of fun - let's get it
) and had no clue what we were getting into. Several mistakes and lots of money later, we are doing much better with it - we enjoy it and are still learning (this board has been a great asset) I teach 7 - 12 grade mathematics and love my job (believe it or not some teachers really do enjoy their jobs). Anyone else in Northern Arkansas out there. Our nearest fish store is 2 hours away.

Lets see.... I am 14, have a messed up family and is not supportive of this hobby I have at all. My dad doesn't like that I am not into sports so will have nothing to do with the fish hobby. ( Don't ask me why... He won't give me a reason) I get good grades, but struggle a little in math, but still get a B or C+
I would like to own a pet/garden store when older because they are both big parts of my life and would love to have a job having to do with both.
Never been scuba diving because I would have to pay for it.
I love seafood.
I have a 55 fresh tank(grandparents house but mine
), 10 salt, and soon to be custom tank. (not shure on gallons yet.)
I pay for everything!!! Nothing
had been bought for me! That is the reason the new tank is taking so long...

ummm... if you want to know anything else just ask!

My 55 was a reef. I sold all the coral and rock to get stuff. That is why I an down to a 10gallon.

When I want a custom tank it is not cheap. I am almost to the point where I can get the tank. Should have the new one all set up by January!
Seems like a looonnnggg time but I know it will pay off.
