That's very true.
I took the Behind the Scenes Tour at the GA Aquarium and asked the guide (who was going to school for marine biology) if she recommended a career in that field and she said it is VERY hard to do what you want to do in marine biology. For example, a lot of people think they're going to work with fish/inverts or work at Sea World or the GA Aquarium, but most of the time, they're looking at fish poop under a microscope. Good jobs in that field are few and far in between.

its like news anchors, there are only so many top market jobs that pay a lot, the rest are small market reports or anchors tiring to get to the big markets..it is very hard

I guess I would first ask what the fish poop position pays, right? That has to be entry-level and the pay scale goes up from there?

What a great group of folks!
And I would like to add my regards to you young women and men who are a joy to talk to here. Not that I have reached geezer status quite yet, but you all are very nice and I'm sure your families are proud of the way you conduct yourselves.

HA!! Yeah, the sleeping privileges return briefly; roughly between the ages of 5-12. Then they start turning into teens and the sleepless nights begin again for a whole different reason. At least with infants you can soothe/comfort/fix the problem. With teens it's a bit more challenging.

Enjoy your precious little one. Do you care to share her name?
