Acan in trouble.

So I've had this little Acan frag for a few weeks now and in the beginning it was doing great (all puffed up and what not) but lately something has been flipping it over (I suspect my Emperal Crab) and for the last couple of days its been completely closed up. I've epoxied its base so hopefully that will prevent any further flipping... but is it too late?

It will probably be fine. Acan's are pretty good at recovering.

It depends on whether or not the skeleton has been damaged. Is any of it exposed?

Hmm not that I can tell... once after putting it back one of the heads let out a little bit of some white threads (guts?) I didn't see it respond to food though.

Hmm well I can't seem to keep other tank critters from playing with this frag... no matter where I put it I find it flipped over somewhere else... its pretty beat up now but atleast a few feeding tentacles come out during feeding time.
I tried epoxying it but it keeps getting pulled off even that!
ATM I have it in the corner of the tank in the sand and nothings moved it for the last couple of day as far as I could tell.
Would it be ok to leave it in the sand for now or does it need to be on the rock?
