Acans not really growing anymore(pics)

I got an Aussie Acan a little while ago, it started off with 4 polyps, but had baby polyps that you couldnt see as well. They came on a plug, and I put the plug on a rock, hoping the acans would start to grow on the rock. Well that hasnt happened, they grew on the plug, but not the rock. Does it take a long time for acans to start to spread on a rock? Do you think I should move them to a different place? Maybe I can frag a few, and place them on a rock, without a plug. Anyone have any links on how to frag acans?
Thanks

is that bubble algae? anyway, place them at low flow and feed them often, and they should grow faster.

Yep, Mine seem to do the best on the substrate with my 6 54w T-5's.
Like Bob said, feeding is important for these guys growth. Mine love Cyclopeeze with the PH's turned off..........
