Ok so we've got our 110 gal tank cycled and had the water tested by our lfs and added a cleaner crew
Ive read elsewhere in the forum that its best to test and log the results so we ordered the following test kits
Salifert pH Test
Salifert Ammonia Test Kit
Salifert NitrateTest Kit
Salifert Nitrite Test Kit
Salifert Calcium Test Kit
Salifert Kh/Alk Test Kit
My question is what are the ideal readings for each of the above tests
Thanks :happyfish

from a book I have on marine reefs this is what it says-
temperature 72-78 (a lot of people on here have said a little higher is better, though)
specific gravity 1.022-1.026
salinity 32-36 o/oo
pH 8.0-8.4
alkalinity 6-9 KH
calcium 400-450 mg/L
ammonia <.25 mg/L
Nitrite <.25 mg/L
Nitrate <30 mg/L
phosphate <.03 mg/L
I hope that's helpful. Usually the test kits themselves will have some kind of range chart, too. Good luck!

my ideal levels are this
pH- 8.2
alk- 8
Ca-450
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-0
Phosphate-0
Temp- 81
Salinity- 35ppt
I would consider any levels of Ammonia and Nitrite bad and I strive for 0 nitrates and phosphates.
