Acclimating new guys

Well, my order finally came. I am still acclimating them, because I got them quite late. Fedex delivered them down the road. Of course, I am following the acclimation procedure as advised, except a little more slowly. Here is my question. The instructions say to place the specimen in the tank, no water from the bag. How do you usually do this? Most of them are quite active, indeed. I should not think they will let me pick them up. I don't want to injure them by straining them. You know, I think I am getting neurotic about this tank!

The hermits and snails you can pickup by hand. I used a small net on the shrimp and the crabs. If your net is to big to fit in the bag you could put the net over the end of the bag and pour the water out through the net and catch them that way.

Oh, ok. I must be getting tired or I would have thought of that. I got an anemone shrimp. It is a lovely fairy-like little creature, but almost completely transparent. I wonder if I will ever see it again after I put it in the tank.

Oh those shrimp are soooo cool, expensive little buggers though for what you get. I saw one at the LFS today, they were selling the shrimp with the anemone already paired, it looked reallly cool.
