Acclimating question?

I just received a yellow tang and some invertebrates.
25 turbo snails
20 scarlet hermit crabs
20 blue leg hermit crabs
1 coral banded shrimp
5 peppermint shrimp
5 emerald crabs
2 clams
Can I acclimate all of the inverts together? Or do I have to separate each one and acclimate them all at different times.

Depends on the length of time you are dong to have them accliamting, shrimp IMO need a long acclamation time

Plus if everything is bagged separately you should not mix them together as the water they are in may be different in each bag.

You should always be testing the water before acclimating anyway, IMO. If the salinity in each bag is the same, then they likely came from the same source system.
Most large establishments run one salinity for fish and another for inverts, IME. This is because fish can safely be kept at a lower salinity than inverts can, and salt costs money. When keeping 10,000's of gallons, that makes a difference in the bottom line. One place I buy from runs fish at 1.019 and inverts at 1.025.
Shrimp are definitely more susceptible to osmotic shock than crabs or snails. I always acclimate them for 2-3 hrs even if the salinity is close to what I run. I do this because even though the salinity may be exactly the same as mine, the salt composition may not. Different brands have (sometimes substantially) differing trace element contents which can contribute to osmotic shock as well.

Thanks guys..I bought them from this site.
I am acclimating my yellow tang now. He seems stressed but maybe its just because of the shipping. And I am acclimating the hermits together they both had the same salinity. Then I just have the shrimp and snails
..and then I will be complete!

check the pH also. Probably the biggest issue after salinity and temp. a quick jump in pH can result in shock.

Doesn't make a difference if they are all from the same source or not. The parameters you'll find in each bag changes depending what is in each bag. Ammonia, Co2, pH, etc etc will be affected directly by what was in that bag during shipping (100 snails verses 2 hermits, let's say) Temps could be different as well depending on what bag was closest to the warm pack/cool pack if one was used.
