your water should be the same thats why we drip acclimate to slowly introduce them to your water chemistry.what ever your temp is in your dt is what should be in what ever your using to acclimate them in

Yeah, but I don't have any fish stores within an hour from me. so that hour drive home the temp in the bag with the fish drops and when i start the drip it drips so slowly that it never really heats the water up. at least that's how it is for me.

well you could float the bag in the tank for an hour or so before you acclimate to equalize the temp out or buy the same heater in your dt and set it the same temp and throw it in your bucket
but i buy from here and the fish are in bags over night(fom shipping) and i dont have any problems with them
