I'm getting my first SWF.com order tomorrow morning and wanted to make sure I read their e-mail correctly.
Coral Beauty : Acclimate 3 hours
Brittle Star : Acclimate 3 hours
Turbo Snails, Conch, Porcelain Crab, Hermit Crabs : In-Baggie acclimate for 15 min then dump them in
Ricordea : In-Baggie acclimate for 15 min then dump them in
Cleaner Clam : Nothing mentioned... do I acclimate him for 3 hours also?
Is that right? Can the fish and star acclimate in the same container?

That sounds about right - I've always tried to follow SWF acclimation process, but i've found on a lot of my fish i can't wait that long b/c of the temperature difference. The most i've acclimated a fish was about an hour in a half and i haven't lost a fish yet (granite I only have had 5).
I would temperature acclimate the cleanup crew and clams, for about 15 - 30 minutes then drop them in, and drip acclimate the fish. IMO 3 hours is a bit excessive but i've probably just been luck - i always worry about the temperature in the bucket dropping too low.
Your on the right track and I think you'll do fine.
Keep us updated on your new arrivals!

Acclimation is about shocks to their system and avoiding stress, so different times can work (just like not using a QT tank can work), but the basic idea is better safe than sorry. The longer times are for critters that are known to be more delicate. The star in particular is your major concern here: they are very very sensitive. Don't skimp on acclimation time with them at least/
I'd drip acclimate the snails and clams, myself. Snails have gills and are very sensitive to salinity differences.
