Acclimation Question!

Well, I ordered the Queen Angel, and Blonde Naso Tang. Now, I have this somewhat large clear container for acclimating, and I am wondering if I will be able to acclimate them together in that container? The Naso will be around 3" and the Queen will be about 4-5". It would really make things a ton easier, then i could put a mini hetaer in there to keep the temp consistant. Thanks

I would contact SWF about that. If they came from the same place, as in the same tank or system in their store, then it would be okay because the water in both bags would be the same. However, if they came from different systems, you will definitely need to separately acclimate.

Ok, I will try to email them. But I heard that they dont reply to emails very often. I will try though.

if it where me, i would do it seperatley. If one is ill and you combine them then you may lose two instead of one. I learned the hard way that trying to cut corners and do things easily will hurt your wallet and your livestock in the long run.

Ok, thank you. I guess better safe than sorry! But if SWF replies and says its OK, then I think I will do them together. That way i can put 1 heater in there, and they will have alot of swimming room. And I will be able to quadruple the amount of water without emptying it at all! Yay!
