:yes: it will work just fine, it states that you want the water in the bucket you are using to quadrupel...and that really isnt very much water if you think about it. its just a small baggie they come in. i just got through recieving a few fish via saltwater.com and i would say when i was don drip acclimating the fish i had about a gallon or so of water in there maybe at most. so dont woory its not as much as you think it is:joy:

ok so when you put the water from the bag in the 5 gallon there is enough room for the fish to swim or even move?

I use a smaller bucket and try to time it with a water change. That way I can replace the water leaving my 10 with new water as water drips from the tank.

Friday I put 3 small fish into my 10g QT tank. It took out almost 2 gallons over 3 hours. probably a little more than I needed to do but there was plenty of water left. I figured that was enough changes for a day so the next day I slowly filled back up with new water. Just like marvida said it's like a 20% water change.
