Accuracy of test kits

Wondering what brand of test kits everyone uses. I have a liquid PH test kit from aquarium pharmeceuticals, when it started to get low I purchased a different PH test kit and tested with both to see how close the results would be. The liquid tested the PH at 8.1 the new test kit tested the PH at 8.6!! I have not had much luck with some delicate fish in this tank, and now am wondering how accurate my PH was testing my water. What brand of test kits do you use??

I have a liquide ph to and it works pretty good.

I have a pinpoint pH monitor for my pH readings and although it costs about $90 it was a great investment and gives continuos readings on pH down to +/- .01. It saves a lot of time and is a lot more accurate than trying to notice different shades of blue.
