Achilles tang owners, post your pics and/or experiences!

ich magnets if you ask me, my dad had one wipe his whole tank out and my uncle just bought one thursday night and friday afternoon he had it all over him. one of my favorite fish but i will never own one

a local reefer has had on for around 6+ months, he says high flow, and EXCELLENT water paramerters are the key

They are extremely hard to keep. They get numerous "issues" rather easily and need tanks that are rather large. They are fairly simple to get to eat, but if something gets into your tank, the achilles will most likely catch it.

My boss's friend had one for about 6 months in a 180 that is METICULOUSLY cared for, and when I say meticulously(sp) I am not joking, this guy is border line anal. But anywho, he had his for 6 months, and all of a sudden got ich, he got rid of the tang, and he also lost 5-6 fish that got ich also. I had one, at one time, and it never ate for me. They are prone to ich and hlle. I would only attempt it if you are experienced w/ years of experience, and have a big enough tank for him 125 gallon plus(minimum 6ft tank).
