I'll have to stock up on some veggies for him. Also when should I add the tang first, last somewhere in the middle?

I concur. In my case alot of my fish w my yellow tang also will eat the seaweed, fox, angel, clowns, ect so I usually do 1/3 sheet a day. I hand feed it. I hold it in the water the fox takes it then its a free for all tearing it up lol

I just read that the Achilles Tang is one of THE most territorial, belligerent of the genus. In simple terms, its a mean son of a biotch. That and its been known to nip corals.

Well I don't have any corals or plans for keeping corals. So basically I would want to put him last and is that aggression towards all other fish or just other tangs?

Well that sucks I'm so sure on this then it great looking fish but I kinda want more just one fish I'm gonna have to think about this. Also what are some good replacement tangs if I decide not to get the achilles?

Aren't purples know for being mean as well? The chevron is actually more than the Achilles which shocked me.

Lol its all about availability. The purple can be nasty but all tangs can be. Ive seen purples w other fish in big enough tanks and no issues

That's true but is my tank big enough for that to happen. Also is my tank big enough for a hippo tang?

Don't do it lol if they are dissimilar in shape and added at the same time it can be done they say. Ive seen multiple yellows in large systems, ive also seen a small purple chasing a larger naso. If u wanted to try say a kole and yellow maybe would wrk, but generally its iffy at best. Now a hippo w a purple or yellow. Should wrk but you would need a 200+ system to keep both

In a 135? If you can find tank raised hippos yes. Your border line. But you have the 6ft length

What's the difference in tank raised and wild caught? I also have a custom made 135 it's 6'x20"x22" if that matters at all?
