Acimilation Need help Quick.

I just bought two Clarki Clowns and I am assimilating them as I type. I was wondering if the reason for assimilating was to match the salinity because my clownfishes' salinity is the same as my main tank. So, I was wondering if I could just put them in. Thanks :help: :help: :help:

its to match the salinity and everything else. the ph and all. they will go into shock if you don't.

Don't put the water for the fish store into your tank! Most stores run a little copper in the water and that will kill any inverts you have or will get.

yeah to balance ALL specs and soften the adjustment from one water source to another. Not just temp as many think....
