Acro bleaching

My acro is bleaching. I think this is because of the brass valve I installed couple of weeks ago.
Should I cut it off the bottom where the bleaching starts?
My other corals I think are recovering ok.

Is this some type of worm?

Could be RTN.
Also, check your dKH and PH levels. I know I lost a few SPS frags to bleaching because my dKH levels dropped too low.

I checked the dKH yesterday and it is at 10.2.
I cut of the bad part. Hopefully it will be ok.

Bleaching usually starts from the top down...no??
