I have never drip aclimatied any of my sps and u shouldnt have to just float the bag for awhile and dump some water in the bag to help satisfy the salinity and u will be fine. If u have just one sps and never had anyothers in there before u calcium is probably high enough. I would check ur alk and po4 levels and no3 levels i would worry more about that then anything. I would move the coral to lower light for awhile to help keep the color and then move it back up. How much water movement do u have in ur tank right now like someone else said u shouldnt have it blowing directly on the coral, but it should have flow all around the coral. Do u know what kind they are if not can u get a pic we should be able to tell then whats maybe going on.

My lights (2-250HQI + 4-54w T5) are 4" off the water in a 24" deep tank.
My LFS that I get most of my SPS from has 400w SE that are 22"-24" above the water in 30" deep tanks. Therefore I start my corals low.
Like I said before, it's been working for me this way and I have lost "rushing" some SPS to the top.

Yep, most are doing fine except I think it was a peach montidigi. I had a brain coral get rolled over on it for 1 day and burned the poo out of it. Tried to get it to come back, but just wouldn't. The others have doubled size now.

Friggin' emerald crabs are gone now. Thanks Blaze98.
