Acrylic Hood just arrived

My acrylic hood just arrived from hamilot, I bought a retro kit off of ---- for it (Dual 250) MH. It has 2 fans, but How is the Reflectore supposed to attach to the canopy, and do the mogul light sockets screw to the canopy or the reflector????? There are holes and screw holes for the fans, but nothing more then spacers on the hood to keep the reflector off the hood at the ends. I searched the Web sites, and found a ton of sights for DIY with Wood, But I wanted a modern Acrylic look, Any advice would be appreciated. Also this fixture is only 8 inches high, hope it does melt.

i have an acylic hood on my 120. i mounted my p/c and 2-175 watt m/h on 1/4" plywood. i then used waterproof caulking to bond the plywood to the hood. i also use "l" brackets to hold the plywood which i attached to the support brackets with a short stainless screw.u also might want to put some plywood spacers between the larger sheet and the hood to give you some circulation between the 2 pieces.

Thanks, I should be able to mount the 2-250 MH, and a actinic NO as well,
Do wood screws hold in acrylic, or do you bolt it through the top??
The reflector then goes on the plywood sheet, and the whole assembly into the hood right.
