Acrylic or glass

getting a magfloat for some algae removal, one is for glass other is for acrylic. I dont want to make a mistake but I am not sure which my tank is, had it awhile. Its a 46 bow.

When in doubt, go for the acrylic magma float as the acrylic one should be safe to use on both. The glass float could scratch acrylic if you guess wrong.

IMO most people scratch their tanks by getting abrasives caught between the instrument used to clean the inside surface of their tanks. Make sue what ever you use you do not trap CC, sand or bits of LR between it and the surface you are cleaning

Ordered the acrylic. Wonder why they even bother selling one strictly for glass then if acrylic works good on both glass and acrylic.

I am just guessing here but I would think that the one for glass has a more abrasive pad that goes on the inside of the tank JMHO.
