acrylic scratches easier and I think if you buy the right type of glass tank it will give you a clearer view as well. Other than that I think weight is the only other issue, as well as price.
I'd go with a glass tank as long as you are not planning 400+g tank.
If I were you I'd first check what your LFS can get for you and for what price. Shipping charges usually kill a good online deal.

Glasscages.com makes great stuff and delivers to many major cities; it may work for you. Their starphire glass option is terrific.
I went with Acrylic from Tenecor for my 120x36x30. True acrylic scratches but there is ways to buff it out easily.
Glass is great, but it is very heavy and if it scratches it is almost impossible to get the scratch out.
