acrylic vs glass

All I know is that the dimensions of the 135 are FAR better for fish than those of the flat back hex. I've never had an oceanic tank... can't help you there. The glass will be a little heavier to move. Go with the glass. You'll be happier if you are less limited with livestock. That's my opinion.

Didn't u just buy a 175 bow? But anyway, my tank is made by Oceanic, and I couldn't be happier with it. Very sturdy and the clarity of the glass is great, I would totally buy another tank made by Oceanic in a heartbeat!!

No problem, and my tank is a 55. So it isnt nearly as big as you are thinking, but they are all made the same way...just with different size sheets of glass.

I think Jcrim is just confused about what your talking about. Also, I think there is a better chance of a living christmas tree flying through your bedroom window smashing your fish tank eating all your livestock and then killing your living room couch, than that tank cracking. Really...LOL, I mean it. And the 90 day warranty doesnt hurt...but I wouldnt worry about it cracking...they are VERY sturdy.
