Actinic lighting question...

I have a 75 gallon with a Coralife 260W Power compact with moonlights. In that are 2 65w 24" Actinics and 2 85w 10,000K's. I'm told the actinics cause green colors to go to more of a pink. Found that out by bringing a branched green torch coral home and it looks faded in the tank. Anybody have any advice for replacements for the actinics? Have some Zoo's, BTA, etc. so need the replication of sunlight.

The compacts, I believe use the 460n light spectrum, and have heard a few poeple complain about this color. Try and see if you can find out if its a 460n or 420n color. I believe that you want the 420n Actinic Color.

I'll see what I can discover about the type of actinics that are installed. When the lights are off, everything that should be green IS green, and I knew the actinics throw a blue light, but they wash the green spectrum away. I have a lot of coraline algae on the LR and am looking for some contrasting colors....hence the green torch, etc.
Thanks for the help!
