IS IT TRUE THAT THESE LIGHTS BRING OUT THE COLORS IN YOUR FISH? IF SO, WHAT'S THE BEST BRANDS AND HOW MANY WATTS WOULD I NEED FOR A 125GAL F/O TANK?
I'M A BEGINNER, SO EXCUSE THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE!

It is true that they bring out the colors,,But you will need more than just blues over the tank to make it look good...You will also need some daylight bulbs..Over a tank that large the more the better.You could easily fit four or five 40watt tubes over that tank depending on what you have for a top/lid...I have two 175watt MH,two 40watt tubes(daylight) and two 30 watt blues over my 130gallon...

I'M NOT SURE WHAT TYPE OF LIGHTING I HAVE IT'S PRETTY STANDARD I GUESS BECAUSE IT CAME WITH THE TANK WHEN I BROUGHT IT.
I JUST READ THE BULBS, ON ONE SIDE I HAVE 30 WATTS PREHEATED AQUARIUM BLUB(1), THE SAME FOR THE OTHER SIDE.
ONE LAST ?, HOW DO YOU FIT ALL THAT LIGHTING OVER ONE TANK? THAT MAY SOUND SILLY BUT I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.
