If you use 2 blue actinics, why do some use with 50/50 bulbs? Isn't that too much blue? Should it be 2 blue actinics and 2 white actinics? Just wondering.

it's all a personal thing, you know? i don't think you can have too much actinic as long as you have a good amount of "day" light. go diving on a reef sometime. even in shallower waters, the reef is still very blue.

What do you mean by full spectrum bulbs?

Full spectrum means there is more than one peak of the light wavelengths. If you mix all colors of light you end up with white light. Actinic is mostly blue light, full spectrum would include Blue, Yellow and Red at a minimum, probably more.
FYI - 50/50 is another name for Actinic White.
Don't stress too much about the different bulbs and colors. Just get what looks good to you and go from there.
