Does anybody have any ideas for an active shrimp?? I use to have a fire shrimp that never came out, it would be nice to have something other than a peppermint shrimp, that likes to be seen.

i have 2 camel shrimp, some say they're iffy in reefs, but mine touch nothing and are always moving around the rocks

Skunk Cleaners are the most ovbious. If you hand feed them they will be extra friendly when they see you.

Your last line is everything...not a lot of things "like to be seen" in the wild. So instinctively they hide during the day, when their primary predators tend to be active. sometimes this changes in captivity over time, sometimes it does not. Some are very active at night when you look in the tank.
So you may get some that are more active, but otherwise know that they are acting normally when they are hidden

i have a peppermint shrimp (which always hides) and a skunk cleaner shrimp. I love my cleaner shrimp so much I just bought a second. I never hand fed mine but he's still always visible walking round my LR. Plus they're also fun to watch "cleaning" my fish.
