Hi All...
I added my 1st "Real" fish to my 46 Gal this evening...I picked up 2 Clownfish today at my Local Fish Store, Drip Acclimated for 2+ Hours (30Mins Temp in Bag, and a little over 2hrs Drip in Bucket).
I'm not sure if they are Ocellaris or True Percula, but I would have to guess Ocellaris based on the price. I didn't really ask at the LFS and it wasn't the "Saltwater Expert" that helped me get them from the tank. I will try to post pics tomorrow once I turn the lights and stuff on in my tank, and maybe the experts here can help identify.
One is probably 1.5" or so and the other is .75"-1" and both fairly "bright" orange in color.
My tank is barely a month old, so after a while (6+ mths), I'd like to think about adding an Anemone for them, but hopefully they will be like living in my tank.
The LFS said they would eat flakes, but it seems people here lean more on a combo of flakes, pellets and frozen, possibly with some Garlic if they are picky... should I try flakes and see how they do, or should I go ahead and pick up some other types of food as well?
I'm very happy to have some 'color' in my tank!

flakes will not be enough to sustain them happily, I feed mine a veriety of formula one frozen, mysis shrimp, bloodworms, and brine on rare occasions during the day as a treat not a meal. true percs have a very bold black stripes. the Yellow tang eats formula one like a champ and a very skittish firefish comes out for the mysis shrimp. the clowns eat anything. they do not need an anemone......esspecially if you dont have the light to sustain it.

I know the little guys are still geting used to thier new home, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to try pellets or something else... I put a small pinch of flake this AM and the 5 Blue/Green Chromis that have been in the tank for a short while came up and munched everything up and I don't think the clowns even saw that it was there.
They found a little area that they must feel comfortable on the back right side of the tank, and have been hanging out there since I went to bed last night.
Still Fun to Watch... I'll stop by the LFS and get some different food to try.
