Added crabs and snails too early. Help!

My Biocube32 is 2 1/2 weeks old. I used live sand and a good amount of live rock to set it up and added a bottle of Biospira. When I tested at end of week 1 and week 2 I had no ammonia or nitrites but I had some nitrates. LFS said I was probably ready to add some crabs and snails. I’m now seeing ammonia so it seems like tank isn’t cycled yet. Not sure what to do. Would a water change help? Really don’t want to lose these guys.

Water change may help. Changing out your water will slow the cycling process. You need at least 6 weeks to cycle.
