added water at last but got the flush

i added water to my tank (no salt) to start setting up my pumps and everything but my overflow is doing the flushuing thing
90 with mag 9.5 oh i have the regular overflow kit from all glass
im picking up some pluming to do a p trap in the line any other ideas

Also try extending the pipe down under the water level in the sump.
