I have a false Percula and would like to get another one soon to eliminate fighting. But not having much luck finding one can I add a True Percula clown with him instead?
It is not fighting with anything but I would like to add another clown, same species beacuse I read the do better in pairs. I was wondering if I could have a false percula with a true Percula.
I am having a rough time trying to find one. But I' keep look I thing it sould be ok they are the same species. Whitebird false percula and a true Percula ?
True Percula clowns are fish from breeding in the wild.
False Percula clowns are from fish breeding in captivity. (Small differences mostly white stripes don't go all the way around)

Are you sure about this? I'm pretty sure they are totally different species.... and that both are found in the wild....
EDIT
Ok, I thought about this for a minute after I totally woke up... Percs and False Percs are different species found in the wild.
Well, as that site says, they are totally different species of fish.
Again, the general rule is that you cannot mix clownfish species unless in a large tank. Some people have success with it, but usually you end up with a dead fish.
