Adding a Sump

Spend a good chunk of money on a skimmer. AquaC makes awesome products. Also look into MH lighting as they will allow you to house a lot more corals than PC lights.

Buy a skimmer for your 29g that will also accomodate your new tank (75 or 90g). I cant recommend a good skimmer, because mine is a piece of junk, although it does the job (barely). I would recommend STAYing AWAY from the SeaClone series of skimmer. Learn from my experience, not your own.

I have a 90 gal tank but have yet to start it. Still waiting for the guys to finish installing the hard wood, but I have bought mostly everything that I need. I have a EuroReef CS 6-2 skimmer, Mag 950 return pump, a 40 gal sump that uses a micron filter bag, and a ViaAqua 250watt titanium heater that is going into the sump. I still have to get the small power heads to make that water flow and the lights. Then last, the frekin LR.
Just wanted to give you an example even though my setup isn't up and running yet. But my LFS that I got all my stuff is established and know thier stuff and they do have a nice reef tank with this equipment.
