Hello,
I saw BigAls feeding schedule and took a picture.
I would like to create a similar table for my reef tank. Can anyone help me modify this for my 90GAL tank?
Do I need all the additives on the list? what do you guys use to does your tank daily, weekly?
My currently schedule.
- Add 60mL of Calcium and dKH every morning
- Feed the corals 3 times per week
- I'm starting to add iodine, once or twice a month
Am I missing anything, please advise?

What are your current levels... and if you don't know how do you know if you're dosing properly or not?
Also the amount of calcium and dKh depends a lot of (besides your current levels) what you have in the tank. Soooo much info missing here yet.

You must not ever dose unless a test calls for it. So while you keep all this info ...keep track of your test results as well for that same day an right after. That is what I do.

Thank you for the tip. I'm currently using excel to keep traking of everything that I do. From adding calcium, mag, dkH to testing results. If this widget is better than I will use it.

My apologies.
My tank 90Gal tank info.
90 - 100 lbs live rock
Calcium = 450
dKH = 9.5
Mag = 1350
Temp: 75-76F
Lights: Actinic lights on for 11 hrs and 10 hrs for MH
Corals: I have a mixture of hard and soft corals, and fishes.
I uses Two-Part Calcium and Alkalinity Supplement System by Randy Holmes-Farley to dose my tank.
I added 60mL of the two parts every morning.
If I have missed anything, please let me know.
Thanks

Good question. Other than my brain and blasto coral green pigment are fading. All other corals are growing fine.
Am I worrying too much?

No I do not, I have great growth in both my sps and lps, have had no issues.
Every tank is different. I personally have to dose. My DKH will drop almost a full point a day without dosing. Add that over 7 days and it =

^ Exactly! Every tank is different and different things work for different tanks. I'm still amazed how heavily stocked I am and I don't dose any calcium (but I do good sized water changes every sunday) and my levels stay consistent. The biggest key I think to dosing is test, test, test.

funny thing is I test every two weeks. I use Salifert test kit. If I don't add enough cal and alkalinity daily then the test kit results will drop big time. I add mag less than the other two.
