adding button polyps

how long should i acclimate these polyps? like regluar or the average 15-20 minutes? thanks in advance

Just like anything else.

Button polyps are pretty hardy and you probably couldn't kill them if you tried but it's always good practice to acclimate all corals correctly. I usually float them for 30 minutes then put half a cup of tank water in the bag wait 15 to 20 minutes repeat then put the coral (not the water in the bag just the coral) in the tank. this works for most corals but the longer you acclimate the better and of course if you purchase a drip system that is by far the best way.

i acclimated mine for about 30 minutes. i think at least 30 is plenty. did you get those from Rich's tonite? man did you see that yellow pagoda. about the only thing stopping me from buying it was the thought that i still want to get better lights for my tank.

yeah i saw it.. man it looked great.. thought i would try some polyps before i move on to anything else.. going up to saraland this weekend to check out that guy's stuff too.. i really need to get a skimmer, but dont really want to go with a sump just yet.. maybe have to soon

Well the race is on. Rich said there a couple people wanting the pagoda, including me. I'm coming into money tomorrow and more than likely will be picking it up. You like his set up Yardrat.

man .. i really like his tank for his house.. i need that one..he just seems like every thing i wanted was "supposed" to be sold.. i like the neon green finger, like yours... gotta get one.. but over all i was satisfied.. good deal on those polyps.. 3 for $6 .

yeah you'll love the store in saraland. Hey Predator I bought some of those xenias at Rich's tonite. I can't believe you. I want that coral. Ohwell I know someone is definitely going to get it before I do. I thought you said you were done adding corals. Hey yardrat was that your first time at Rich's. If so you'll continue to come back. He's great and his prices are cheap. Umm can we say MUCH better than B&B. If that green leather wasn't sold I would have bought that. Hey Yardrat you know you can get a backpack skimmer. That's what I've got. You'll see it tomorrow.

I begged for that green leather. I tried to offer him more than who ever payed for it but it was a no go. I Really do not need it considering I'v already got one, just not that big. I know what I said, but man. That is really really YELLOW. I mean I'm sure I can make room you know what I'm saying. That and I want some more mangrove. He's got plenty.
