adding invertebrates

today i added a starfish, two shrimp, a few snails and a decent amount of crabs. i have white spots appearing on the live rock where they are eating the algea off of. it concerns me only that the live rock seems whiter then before the algea appeared on it, anything to worry about? thanks, brian.

Don't worry.What happens is, the crabs crush the rock, and eat it with algea. In a week, it will return to its normal color.

thanks, do the crabs, snails and shrimp really do a good job at cleaning up the crap at the bottom? im curious to see how well they do. any thoughts are apprecaited! brian.
