Adding LR to established FO tank

Would I destroy my well-established 180G tank (w/ 7 hearty fish) if I put in 50 - 100lbs of cured LR and 50 - 100 lbs of Base Rock?
OR
should I take out fish and let tank cycle. I would rather not do this unless of course I will be killing all the fish
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

You have some really hardy fish there - Here's what you should do to avoid any loss of animals or live rock critters:
Buy a new plastic trash can (we all could use another trash can anyway)
Set it up with couple of powerheads, a heater (you could always use backups) and fill this will 50% new salt water and 50% of your water changes (that way it's semi cycled water).
Put your live rock into the trash can when you recieve it (remember to remove the water as you add the rock ort it will over flow and go everywhere) and let it cycle in the trash can for a week or two (check the water paramters for the cycle) and migrate your rock a few pieces at a time to make sure the impact on the cycle is nominal.
Plus you can set up the rock the way you want and not have to worry about losing any animals on the LR by rushing it.

When ever adding LR,cured or not you should alway's cure it again before adding it to the tank. There's alway's goin to be
some dye off,and this will raise your Ammonia, and that's
never a good thing.Just put the rock in a large tupperware
containerwitha heater and a small powerhead or a air
stone.Make the salinity 1.023 to 1.025,change 50% of the
water every 2 day's,until all levels are good than add to the
tank.If starting with un-cured rock, start out by soking it in
salt water with salinity of 1.040(just leave it in there for 1
minute, then remove) this will get rid of any un wanted
things.
