Adding more Live rock??

I purchased some more LR today. I have read to not put it directly into the tank after purchase. What steps should I take before adding?

its ok to add the new lr as long as its cured, and the transportation time is less than 3-5 hours between lfs and ur home.

I purchased the rock while it was in the curing process but I am not sure if the process was complete. It does not stink is the process complete?

Not necesarily, those holding tanks have a big turnover rate. Thus curing processes are always fluxing..
all u have to do is put lr in saltwater with a powerhead and heater (if available), Do this for a few days .(checking ammonia & nitrites).
When the ammonia or trites are at O-.5ppm the process is complete.
