adding new clown

I have a 3" gold stripe maroon clown that I want to pair up with another one. What is the best way to introduce this new fish so it does not get beat up. The guy at my lfs do not do it because they will fight. I also have an anemone.

They are going to fight no matter what. If you get a very small Maroon that has not changed --- to female then there is a small chance of success. They will fight, if the small one lives then they'll likely bond.

since i was also told by my lfs not to do it that it's impossible.
