adding new fish to existing fish

Hi everyone,
72 gal FOWL. I am almost done with my cycle and i currently have 6 damsels.I have a friend that is moving up north and is going to give me his 4 fish.My question is do you think 10 fish is to many for a 72 gal? Should I return some of the damsels to the LFS?

It's too much for tank that isn't fully even done cycling. Did you cycle your tank with the 6 Damsels?

yes.....I cycled with the damsels. LFS recommended i do it.
the damsels can go back to the LFS.

I'd recommend they go back to the LFS. Damsels are very territorial, even in a 75gal, figure its about 10 gallons per damsel. They will most like beat the daylights out of the new additions to the tank, since they are already sort of restricted.
