Adding New Saltwater

Can I heat up new salt water to put into my new tank? I'm just setting it up. I'd like to put some live rock in it while it sits a few days.

Sure you can heat it up...Ummm, I don't really get what your asking about the LR tho. You want to put it in the SW mixing drum and hold it there for a few days? If its not cured it might foul the water.

You can heat it up first, but you'll need to keep it heated while it's in the tank.
