Adding PRE- Cured Live Rock - Does it need to be cured again?

"pre cured" means the rock has gone through and been cleaned and set in bins.
Once rock is shipped you have die off. You MUST cure it to allow the die off to get off the rock so that you don't spike your Ammonia.
Yes, you should do water tests on curing live rock and YES you should do water changes on the curing vat whenever your Ammonia approaches 1ppm. If you do not the Ammonia will reach such toxic levels you will lose much of the life and bacteria on the rock that makes it "live" to begin with.
